Gilberto Mora, the 17-year-old Tijuana attacking midfielder and Mexico international, remains under contract at his boyhood club through 2029 following a structured extension with a built-in release mechanism. This setup, paired with FIFA rules barring an international move until he turns 18 in October 2026, keeps his next destination wide open and explains the tight clustering of implied probabilities across Tijuana, multiple Premier League sides, La Liga giants, and Bundesliga clubs. Widespread scouting since his World Cup breakout, combined with no confirmed frontrunner or formal bids, sustains competitive dynamics among interested teams tracking the young playmaker’s development.
