The 2026-27 Romanian SuperLiga regular season remains tightly bunched after six rounds, with points clustered between 13 for Dinamo București at the top and just 1 for promoted side Csíkszereda Miercurea Ciuc at the bottom. This parity across the 16-team field, including established clubs like FCSB, Rapid București, Universitatea Craiova, CFR Cluj, and Universitatea Cluj alongside newly promoted Corvinul Hunedoara, Sepsi OSK, and Voluntari, has produced highly uncertain positioning heading into the play-out round for teams finishing 7th-16th. Recent results show frequent draws and narrow margins, with defensive vulnerabilities and inconsistent attacking output preventing any side from pulling clear of the mid-to-lower pack. The halved-points reset and single round-robin in the play-out further compress outcomes, leaving 12th place—and the associated relegation-survival threshold—wide open among all listed contenders.
