This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team earns a place in the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League through the 2026-27 Primeira Liga season or by winning a 2026-27 UEFA club competition. Qualifying routes that count include the team’s final 2026-27 Primeira Liga league position, winning a domestic cup competition that carries a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place, and earning a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by winning the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League or Europa League. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Primeira Liga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution. Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 Primeira Liga season is cancelled or postponed past May 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the Primeira Liga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.FC Porto enter the 2026-27 Primeira Liga as defending champions with a perfect early record, topping the table after three matchdays on nine points with a clean-sheet defensive record that carried over from their prior title-winning campaign under Francesco Farioli. Sporting CP sit second but face squad upheaval after major summer departures including Francisco Trincão, Geovany Quenda, and Morten Hjulmand, while Benfica show attacking promise yet trail after fewer fixtures. Pre-season models viewed Sporting and Benfica as marginal favorites, yet Porto’s stability and home strength position them to control the race for the automatic UEFA Champions League league-phase berth that typically rewards the league winner. Key upcoming factors include the big three’s head-to-head fixtures, European commitments, and any further transfer-window activity before the September deadline.
