Arsenal's established defensive structure, anchored by David Raya, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães, and Declan Rice, underpins trader consensus for the Gunners claiming the most Premier League clean sheets in 2026-27. They conceded just 27 goals and recorded 19 shutouts en route to the 2025-26 title, posting the league's lowest expected goals against. Continuity in Mikel Arteta's system, combined with summer additions like Piero Hincapié, reinforces that edge despite early-season absences. Liverpool and Manchester City trail in implied probability amid managerial transitions and squad turnover that could disrupt defensive consistency, while promoted sides and mid-table clubs face tougher fixture contexts from the outset. Opening-week clean sheets across several teams have not shifted the market's emphasis on Arsenal's proven record.
