This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named as the champion of NBA for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NBA: however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs lead the 2027 NBA championship market as co-favorites due to their young, ascending cores and recent Western Conference dominance. The Thunder, coming off a prior title and strong 2025-26 campaign led by back-to-back MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander alongside Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams, maintained depth through Hartenstein’s re-signing and targeted draft additions while managing apron constraints. The Spurs, buoyed by Victor Wembanyama’s continued development and a deep 2025-26 run to the Finals, added veteran support via Tobias Harris and draft pieces while locking in their star extension. These factors, alongside parity among Eastern contenders like the Knicks and 76ers (bolstered by LeBron James), keep implied probabilities tightly bunched in a league where injuries, load management, and playoff matchups can quickly shift outcomes.
