This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 MLS Landon Donovan Most Valuable Player. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Multiple high-volume contributors with strong goal tallies and creative output keep the 2026 MLS MVP race tightly contested through late August.** Lionel Messi leads implied probability at 36.5% thanks to 14 goals and eight assists in roughly 18 MLS appearances for Inter Miami, maintaining elite individual output even as the team has gone winless in its last several matches and sits nine to ten points behind Eastern Conference leader Nashville SC. Sam Surridge (30.6%) benefits from efficiency on the Supporters’ Shield frontrunners, with 12 goals in limited starts and strong team results bolstering his case. Evander (20.8%) has surged with 13 goals and a league-high 10 assists for FC Cincinnati, highlighted by recent late winners and 23 total contributions that underscore his central role in attack. Luis Suárez, Petar Musa (16 goals for Dallas), and Son Heung-min add further depth with double-digit tallies or key creative numbers, while the broader group—including Dreyer, Bouanga, Joveljic, and others—remains within striking distance on comparable per-game impact. Nashville’s dominant standings position, Cincinnati’s attacking momentum, Inter Miami’s star power despite recent inconsistency, and the even spread of goal contributions across conferences prevent any single candidate from separating decisively, sustaining the competitive clustering reflected in current trader pricing.
