In the American League, the New York Yankees (74-56) and Boston Red Sox (71-59) hold clear wild-card edges, but the Houston Astros, Texas Rangers (both 65-66), Cleveland Guardians (65-66), and Seattle Mariners (62-69) sit in a tight scramble for the final spot.
