Houston Astros and Texas Rangers remain tied atop the AL West at 65-66, three games ahead of the Seattle Mariners, with roughly 30 games left in the 2026 regular season. The Astros' recent mutual parting with general manager Dana Brown adds front-office uncertainty during a stretch that includes tough matchups against AL East contenders. Texas has posted a stronger home record and recent series wins over the Angels, while Seattle sits at 62-69 after splitting recent series and holding a slight edge in some advanced metrics despite a negative run differential. The Angels and Athletics trail by double digits and have been eliminated from realistic contention. Trader pricing reflects this narrow three-team battle, with implied probabilities aligning closely to current win totals and remaining schedule strength.
