The 2026-27 Ligue 1 season, which determines 2027-28 UEFA Conference League access, began on August 21 with PSG as overwhelming title favorites following their domestic and Champions League double. Standard allocation sends the sixth- or seventh-placed side into Conference League play-offs (subject to Coupe de France results shifting spots downward), while the top five secure Champions League or Europa League berths. Early matchdays show Marseille, Lens, Lille, Lyon, and Monaco occupying the upper table, with the race for mid-table European positions expected to involve clubs such as Rennes, Strasbourg, and Nice over the 34-game campaign. Form, squad depth, and fixture congestion will shape the final standing that triggers the single Conference League qualifier.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Ligue 1 standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Conference League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled or postponed past June 12, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Conference League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
