The 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign, which determines 2027-28 UEFA Conference League qualification, opened in late August with early results showing Marseille, Lens, Lille, and Lyon atop the table after matchday one. The spot typically falls to sixth or seventh place, adjusted by Coupe de France outcomes and any spillover from higher European berths, creating a congested mid-table battle involving Monaco, Strasbourg, Rennes, Nice, and Toulouse. PSG’s dominance and multiple clubs’ European schedules add fixture congestion risks, while DNCG financial constraints, summer transfers, and new managerial setups at several sides shape squad depth and consistency. Historical patterns show tight points gaps in these positions, with recent form, home/away splits, and injury management likely influencing the final standings.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Ligue 1 standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Conference League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled or postponed past June 12, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Conference League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
