Paris Saint-Germain enter the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign as clear frontrunners for another title and automatic 2027-28 Champions League qualification, backed by squad depth and recent European success. The battle for the remaining spots centers on Lens, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Monaco, and Rennes, with pre-season models assigning Lens the strongest probability among challengers due to recent consistency and transfer activity. Early match results show PSG with draws while several rivals sit atop the table after two rounds, though a full campaign of form, injury management, European fixture congestion, and summer roster adjustments will determine final positions. Trader consensus reflects PSG's dominance alongside a competitive race for the other berths.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Ligue 1 standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled or postponed past June 12, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
