Robin Risser leads the implied probabilities for most Ligue 1 clean sheets in 2026-27 at 45%, ahead of Matvey Safonov at 34.5% and a cluster of options including Lucas Chevalier, Brice Samba, Guillaume Restes, and others between 26.5% and 23.5%. PSG and Lens enter with the league’s strongest projected defenses after conceding the fewest goals in 2025-26, giving their primary keepers the clearest paths to high totals across 34 matches. Safonov starts as PSG’s number-one following his strong finish to last season, while Risser remains Lens’ undisputed starter after earning best-goalkeeper honors and helping secure second place. Lille, Lyon, and other mid-table sides with organized back lines add depth to the race, but early-season fixture difficulty, rotation risks at elite clubs, and the potential for injuries or tactical shifts keep the field tightly contested among established keepers on defensively sound teams.
