The 2026-27 Liga MX top goalscorer market remains tightly contested early in the Apertura campaign, with numerous established forwards holding comparable implied probabilities. After five matchdays, leaders such as Lucas Ocampos (Monterrey) and Salomón Rondón (Pachuca) sit atop the scoring charts with five goals apiece, but a broad group including Juninho, Juan Brunetta, Henry Martín, and Julián Carranza trail closely at three or four, reflecting balanced attacking opportunities across competitive sides. Recent roster shifts, including Armando González’s departure to Europe following his prior Golden Boot form, have redistributed expectations without creating a clear frontrunner. Depth in Liga MX striking options, combined with the long season ahead encompassing both short tournaments and potential playoff runs, sustains the even distribution of trader consensus around viable candidates with proven finishing records and favorable team contexts.
