If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The early stage of the Apertura 2026, with only five or six matchdays completed across Liga MX, leaves the clean-sheet race wide open and explains the tight clustering around 37-40% implied probability for several keepers. Ezequiel Unsain’s departure to Talleres in Argentina removes one prior frontrunner, while Luis Malagón’s return from Achilles injury at América, Keylor Navas’s move to Pumas, and established starters such as Andrés Sánchez at Atlético San Luis, Óscar García at León, Carlos Moreno at Pachuca, and Kevin Mier at Cruz Azul all feature on teams with varying defensive structures and fixture difficulty. No goalkeeper has yet built a commanding lead in shutouts, and rotation risks plus the split-season format keep the field bunched until more data emerges from the full 2026-27 campaign.
