A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Liga MX's 2026-27 Apertura assist race stays tightly contested because attacking depth is distributed across multiple high-possession sides, with no creator pulling clear after early matchdays. Recent transfers including Luca Orellano to Monterrey and established options like Nicolás Castro and Alexis Vega at Toluca, Juan Brunetta at Tigres UANL, and Lucas Ocampos at Monterrey have spread creative responsibilities. Early assists tallies show several players already at two or three, while roster rotations, midfield flexibility, and differing schedules limit any single standout. Trader consensus around 50% for many candidates and lower probabilities for others reflects this parity, as historical patterns and current form point to ongoing competition through the regular season.
