The 2026 LCK regular season concluded on August 23 with Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports tied at 19-7 atop the Legend Group, T1 and Dplus KIA at 17-9, and KT Rolster at 15-11 forced into Play-In alongside Rise Group sides Hanjin Brion, Nongshim RedForce, and BNK FearX—all at 10-16. Head-to-head records, set differentials, and recent form shaped seeding, with KT dropping six straight series late while Brion edged the Rise Group tiebreakers. The ongoing double-elimination Play-In (Bo5 series, fearless draft) on August 26-28 determines the final two playoff berths, pitting KT against Brion, then Nongshim versus BNK FearX, with the losers eliminated and winners advancing to face T1 or Dplus KIA in Round 1. Trader consensus reflects these late regular-season trends and head-to-head edges in the high-stakes qualification matches.
