The 2026 LCK regular season concluded on August 23 with Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports tied at 19-7 atop the Legend Group, followed by T1 and Dplus KIA at 17-9. KT Rolster finished fifth at 15-11 after a late six-game skid, sending them into the Play-In alongside Rise Group sides Hanjin BRION, Nongshim RedForce, and BNK FEARX, all at 10-16 and separated only by tiebreakers. The August 26-28 Play-In bracket uses best-of-five series in a double-elimination format to award the final two playoff seeds, with winners advancing to face T1 or Dplus KIA in Round 1. Trader consensus reflects KT’s stronger overall roster depth and Legend Group pedigree despite recent form, while BRION carries momentum from set differential and head-to-head results. Playoffs begin August 29 in double-elimination format, with the top four teams qualifying for Worlds.
