The 2026-27 La Liga campaign has just begun, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla, and Real Betis occupying the early top spots after two matchdays while mid-table sides including Villarreal, Alavés, Atlético Madrid, and Osasuna sit just behind. Qualification for the 2027-28 Conference League typically falls to the sixth- or seventh-placed finisher (subject to cup outcomes), so the race centers on teams outside the Champions League and Europa League positions. Pre-season projections highlighted Villarreal, Betis, and Atlético as strong contenders for European places, with additional interest around Getafe, Rayo Vallecano, Celta Vigo, and Athletic Club amid widespread managerial changes and summer squad reinforcements. Early results and fixture difficulty will begin separating the pack, but the 38-round marathon favors consistent performers over short-term form.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 LaLiga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Conference League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 LaLiga season is cancelled or postponed past June 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Conference League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
