Apple's June 2026 price hikes on Macs and iPads amid surging memory and storage costs have shifted trader sentiment sharply toward an iPhone 18 Pro launch price above $1,100, with Polymarket odds exceeding 95% for $1,100+ and around 60% for $1,200+. Higher component expenses for advanced 2nm silicon, DRAM, and NAND—driven by AI features and supply constraints—have prompted analyst forecasts of $200–300 increases from the iPhone 17 Pro's $1,099 starting point. Tim Cook has acknowledged unavoidable hikes, though Apple may attempt to absorb some costs for competitive positioning. The standard September 2026 announcement remains the key near-term catalyst that could confirm or adjust these expectations.

This market will resolve based on the pre-tax launch price in USD of the standard edition of the iPhone 18 Pro as listed on the official Apple Store website or Apple’s retail pricing in the United States on the first official day of its release.
