The 2026-27 Eredivisie campaign is in its opening weeks, with trader probabilities clustered tightly between 43% and 49% across the field because no side has yet pulled clear in defensive consistency over a full schedule. Ajax posted the league’s strongest prior-season defensive metrics (lowest goals conceded and joint-most clean sheets), while PSV, Feyenoord, and FC Twente also finished among the top units; each has added defensive depth through the summer window. Early 2026-27 results already show AZ leading in clean sheets, underscoring how quickly momentum can shift. Over 34 matches, variables such as injury timing, rotation demands in European ties, and fixture congestion keep multiple realistic contenders in play, preventing any single team from establishing a dominant implied probability.
