**Tommy Lishman holds a clear edge in this Players Championship matchup due to stronger recent form and momentum.** The English player has posted consistent high averages and multiple titles in domestic and ADC events leading into the fixture, capped by a notable 6-4 win over Michael Smith in a prior Players Championship leg. Connor Scutt, a PDC Tour Card holder ranked around 45-46 with prior major quarterfinal experience, has mixed results in 2026 ranking events—securing some wins but exiting early in several tournaments and the World Championship. Lishman’s current scoring rhythm and checkout efficiency appear to give traders confidence in his ability to control legs against Scutt’s more variable output. No reported injuries affect either player, keeping the focus on form and head-to-head dynamics in the best-of-11 format.
