Bayern Munich enter the 2026-27 Bundesliga season as clear frontrunners for another title and automatic Champions League qualification, having opened with a dominant 5-1 win over Stuttgart and carrying over heavy squad depth featuring Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Diaz. Borussia Dortmund sit as the strongest challenger for a top-four finish, bolstered by defensive improvements and new attacking options, while RB Leipzig under Martín Demichelis and VfB Stuttgart under Sebastian Hoeneß compete for the remaining spots alongside Bayer Leverkusen. Early results and Opta projections reflect trader consensus around Bayern’s reliability and a tight race among the next tier, with form, squad stability, and European schedule demands likely to shape positioning through the campaign.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Bundesliga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Bundesliga season is cancelled or postponed past June 6, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
