The 2026-27 Bundesliga season opens with no goalkeeper holding a decisive edge in the most clean sheets market, as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and several mid-table sides feature comparably robust defensive structures. Defending champions Bayern rely on Manuel Neuer’s experience and the squad’s expected goal dominance, while Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel benefits from the league’s stingiest backline last term and strong home form. Moritz Nicolas, Michael Zetterer, and others gain traction through consistent starts at clubs with solid recent records, yet the parity across 18 teams—coupled with variable early fixtures, potential rotation, and unpredictable results—keeps implied probabilities tightly bunched. Trader consensus reflects this broad distribution of realistic paths to the lead rather than concentration on any single keeper.
