Real Madrid leads Polymarket’s implied probability for La Liga 2026-27 runner-up at 61.5 percent, ahead of Barcelona at 30 percent, as traders price the two-club title race. Barcelona enter as defending champions under Hansi Flick seeking a third straight crown after finishing eight points clear last season, bolstered by Rodri’s arrival and strong early results. Real Madrid, now managed by José Mourinho, have invested heavily in squad depth and sit close in the table after two wins, positioning them as the clearest challenger. Models from Opta and others project Barcelona with the highest title probability (roughly 45-70 percent range across simulations) while assigning Madrid the next-best finish likelihood, leaving Atlético Madrid, Villarreal, and Real Betis with far lower odds of disrupting the top two. Early form and transfer activity have reinforced this market view without shifting the duopoly outlook.
