Barcelona enter the 2026-27 La Liga campaign as clear title favorites after back-to-back titles under Hansi Flick, bolstered by high-profile additions such as Rodri, Anthony Gordon, and Karim Adeyemi that strengthen their midfield control and attacking depth. Real Madrid, eight points adrift last season, have undergone a significant rebuild under returning manager José Mourinho and major spending on players including Yan Diomande, aligning with their status as the leading challenger. Early-season results and Opta simulations reinforce this duopoly, with Barcelona projected around 45-55% to win the league. This setup drives the market's elevated probability for Madrid as runner-up, while Atlético Madrid and mid-table sides like Villarreal or Real Betis carry far lower implied chances amid the polarized title race.
