Aryna Sabalenka enters as the two-time defending champion and current world No. 1, yet recent inconsistencies on hard courts—marked by round-of-16 exits at Toronto and Cincinnati after strong early-season results at Indian Wells and Miami—have tempered her implied probability at 21.5%. Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek, at 15.8% and 14.5%, have gained ground through recent hard-court titles and deep runs, while Jessica Pegula’s consistency and Elena Rybakina’s ankle concerns further compress the top tier. This parity among multiple in-form contenders, combined with the WTA’s depth on fast surfaces, sustains the tight distribution across leading outcomes heading into the draw.
