The 2026 Liga FUTVE season features a tightly bunched field for runner-up, with early Clausura results leaving several clubs level on points and goal difference after just a handful of matches. Teams such as Academia Puerto Cabello, Caracas FC, and Estudiantes de Mérida sit among the frontrunners in current tables alongside Deportivo La Guaira, Deportivo Táchira, and Metropolitanos, while sides like Portuguesa, Carabobo, and Universidad Central remain within striking distance. This parity stems from comparable squad depth, inconsistent home/away splits, and limited separation in recent form, keeping implied probabilities clustered as the campaign progresses toward its later stages.
