This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Venezuelan Primera División for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Venezuelan Primera División for the 2026 season per the rules of Venezuelan Primera División (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Venezuelan Primera División; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 Liga FUTVE season features a tightly bunched field for runner-up, with early Clausura results leaving several clubs level on points and goal difference after just a handful of matches. Teams such as Academia Puerto Cabello, Caracas FC, and Estudiantes de Mérida sit among the frontrunners in current tables alongside Deportivo La Guaira, Deportivo Táchira, and Metropolitanos, while sides like Portuguesa, Carabobo, and Universidad Central remain within striking distance. This parity stems from comparable squad depth, inconsistent home/away splits, and limited separation in recent form, keeping implied probabilities clustered as the campaign progresses toward its later stages.
