In the 2026 K League 1 season, FC Seoul’s commanding lead has shifted focus squarely to the runner-up race, where a tight cluster of teams remains separated by single-digit points after 25 rounds. Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors sits second on 38 points, just ahead of Ulsan HD, Gangwon FC, Jeju SK, Pohang Steelers, Incheon United, FC Anyang, and Daejeon Hana Citizen, with Bucheon FC 1995 and others still mathematically in contention. Recent results, including Seoul’s heavy win over Anyang and mixed outcomes among the chasing pack, have kept momentum fluid without producing a clear frontrunner for second. Trader consensus around 45–49% for the leading contenders reflects this ongoing parity in form, goal difference, and remaining schedule strength, while Gwangju FC’s distant position aligns with its league-worst standing.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of K-League for the 2026 season per the rules of K-League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the K-League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
