The 2026 Brasileirão Série C runner-up market sits in a tight cluster around 34–37.5% because the first phase concludes on August 29 with 11 teams still mathematically alive for the G-8 and the subsequent quadrangulares. Recent results have separated Brusque and Botafogo-PB at the top while leaving Paysandu, Inter de Limeira, Santa Cruz, Ypiranga-RS, Guarani, Ferroviária, Maranhão, Maringá, Floresta, Amazonas, and Figueirense separated by just a handful of points, creating multiple viable paths to the final stages. With promotion determined by knockout formats rather than regular-season standings alone, small differences in form, head-to-head results, and squad rotation in the final round keep implied probabilities compressed across a wide field of contenders.
