Anja Stankovic enters the ITF W50 Kursumlijska Banja clay-court match against Ikumi Yamazaki with strong recent momentum on the surface, including straight-set victories over Darya Velikova and Doroteja Petrovic in the preceding rounds. The Serbian, ranked near 651, has secured multiple W15 titles at the same venue and benefits from extensive local clay experience plus home-crowd support. Yamazaki, ranked around 641 with a career-high of 348, has compiled solid 2026 results primarily on hard courts in Asia but shows limited recent clay exposure beyond a 2025 W50 title in Belgium. Both players hold comparable overall rankings, yet the surface, scheduling, and Stankovic’s form create the primary drivers behind current trader positioning.
