Gabriela Ce holds a slight edge in trader consensus for the W35 Trieste clay final due to her higher ranking near 330, greater experience at age 33, and 2-1 head-to-head lead including a straight-sets win over Lovric on clay in Torino earlier in July 2026. Ce has compiled strong recent results on the surface with multiple deep runs in ITF events. Pia Lovric, ranked around 528 at age 24, brings momentum from her strong Trieste run featuring victories over higher-seeded players and a solid 18-10 clay record in 2026, though she trails in direct matchups. Both left the draw relatively unscathed with no reported injuries, positioning the match as competitive on the slow clay where consistency and return play will likely decide the outcome.
