Dalibor Svrcina holds a ranking advantage at approximately No. 134 over Alexis Galarneau at No. 183 entering their US Open qualifying second-round match on outdoor hard courts in New York. Svrcina defeated higher-level opponents more consistently in recent months and owns the only prior meeting, a straight-sets victory on hard in 2025. Both advanced from first-round qualifying with straight-sets wins—Svrcina over Felipe Meligeni Alves and Galarneau over Keegan Smith—though Galarneau’s recent form includes several Challenger-level successes on the surface. The hard-court conditions and head-to-head history favor Svrcina, while Galarneau’s serve and return efficiency could create opportunities in a closely contested qualifier where upsets remain possible.
