Braden Shick enters this US Open qualifying first-round match against Clément Tabur with stronger recent hard-court form and a dominant 2026 win rate of 40-14, including deep runs and titles at events like the Cary Challenger. Tabur, ranked around 159-163 to Shick’s 215-219, holds a modest edge in career experience and has reached main-draw Grand Slam stages previously, yet posted a more modest 30-21 record this season. Both players perform well on hard surfaces, with no prior head-to-head history, making recent momentum and adaptation to New York conditions the key variables shaping trader consensus on implied probabilities.
