Yunchaokete Bu enters the US Open qualifying matchup as the clear favorite, reflecting his higher ATP ranking near 120 compared to Rio Noguchi's position around 213-218. Bu's greater height and recent hard-court exposure provide an edge on the outdoor surface, while Noguchi's compact build and veteran experience have produced mixed challenger results this season. Head-to-head history favors Noguchi slightly in prior encounters, yet current form and ranking differentials shape trader consensus toward Bu advancing in this best-of-three format. No confirmed injuries or withdrawals have altered the draw, keeping focus on baseline consistency and first-serve percentages as key variables.
